Your website is where you make your first real impression

I woke up this morning to a flurry of text messages from friends about how Instagram and Facebook was down. One of the friends is someone I've been telling for years that they need a website because you can't run a business in a free marketplace like Meta's and expect for longevity.

Your social media is a place where you can make impressions, but your website is the first date with your future clientele.

It's where you make your first real impression. Your website is your storefront, your home, where you get to make the best first real longterm impression.

Your number one marketing and visibility investment should be in your website, secondly into wherever the eyes are elsewhere on the Internet today, be it the Instagram and the Facebook of today, or whatever the hot new thing is next year.

I take on a small number of website design clients each year, I have capacity for maybe a few more this year so if you'd like me to design a website like The Elopement Collective's I just recently finished, reply and let me know.

Depending on scope, online appointments, online booking contracts, and ecommmerce features, and whether or not you have a branding and style guide already prepared, expect to pay somewhere between $1800 and $5000 AUD.
