<p>I completely rewrote todays marriage ceremony just before I delivered it — I’m in Queenstown, New Zealand for a few couples this week — after spending the two hour drive and half hour walk with the couple I was about to create for.</p><p></p><p>Why? Because I listened to them.</p><p></p><p>We’ve (typically) got two ears and one mouth. My read on that body situation tells me we should listen more, especially when using our mouth is our day job.</p>
