Someone I respect and admire - and have done for twenty years - launched a new project recently. I clicked through to it about 4 hours after they'd emailed thinking that tens of thousands of people would have taken the call to action. I was the first, and I couldn't even make the date, so even I had to pass.
Just because they're famous, or have so many followers, or because you look up to them, none of it means they are guaranteed a win.
The world is a flatter place today, they can take a hit as easily as you can take a win.
