Reading this morning about FTX - the crypto exchange that went bankrupt and who's founder was convicted of fraud - is actually now solvent, which means the company has enough money to pay its creditors, which is to say it is legally able to stay in business, took my mind to how many celebrancy and officiant businesses would be classified as solvent if auditors came in today.
If your business was pulled apart by a spreadsheet-wielding person-in-a-suit tomorrow and they looked at all your income and took away your cost of doing business (expenses), would you be left with a wage?
Search the web for average wages for wherever you are and find out if you are even making minimum wage, let alone the wage of a person who is as professional as you, trained as you, and works as hard as you.
It's ok for you to make a dollar, and it's even ok for you to make a good wage.
