How to accept international payments

Tim asks how I accept payments across borders?

I've used Wise since it was called Transferwise, even it's debit visa cards have treated me well throughout my travels.

If you're not already a user, sign up using this link and you get "a fee-free transfer up to £500 when they sign up with the link." and if three of you do a transfer of over $300 AUD they'll pay me $90 as thanks.

But regardless of the referral link, sign up for Wise and get all your details straightened so that the next time someone from another country wants to book you, you can simply tell them to pay you using Wise and to just enter your email address - it's that easy - and you sound like you actually know what you're talking about.

As destination weddings rise, you need to be prepared to receive payments from people who aren't from the same culture and country as you, so consider Wise and also on-website credit card payments.
